Online betting exchange Betfair has opened up an online spread betting and binary betting website called Tradefair Binaries. The service will offer a financial exchange service much like it's sports betting website Betfair, who is considered the worlds largest online sports betting exchange.

UK sportsbook Stan James will take over the Bet Direct online sportsbook, casino and poker operation on December 10, 2007.

They purchased the company from 32 Red for almost 6 million pounds.

Yonkers Raceway in New York and LA based TVG have launched an online horse betting service for residents of New York State.

David Nathanson who is the VP and GM of TVG had this to say.

We are thrilled to work with Yonkers to deliver premium account wagering services to New Yorkers.

While online gambling is illegal in the USA, betting on horse racing, state lotteries or fantasy sports are considered legal.

Betfair and London Capital Group have reached an agreement where LCG will provide Betfair with a spread betting software package.

Ladbrokes has this to say.
Given that its the first time gambling companies have been able to advertise, were not entirely surprised there have been complaints. But we dont think we have transgressed and we will vigorously defend our case.
