- Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry has had an abdominal injury in a friendly against Norway this past Saturday. After undergoing tests on Monday the English team announced he could not continue and Everton defender Phil Jagielka will be used to replace him.
- Domenico Criscito was cut by Italy after the Cremona public prosecutor announced he was a suspect in a match fixing investigation in Italian football.
- Cacau cut from Germany.
