Another two exciting matches on the second day of the Euro Cup, Germany vs Portugal and Denmark vs the Netherlands.
Germany vs Portugal:
In a somewhat expected outcome, Germany managed to beat out contender Portugal in their first game, winning by a score of 1-0.
Mario Gomez scored with a header 27 minutes into the second half, while Germany managed to keep a good number of solid goal attempts out of the net throughout the game.

Denmark vs the Netherlands:
In what was definitely considered an upset, Denmark managed to edge out the heavily favored Netherlands in todays game, winning by a score of 1-0.
Michael Krohn-Dehli scored 24 minutes into the game, while Stephan Andersen managed to shut out any goal attemps from the Netherlands.
While this unexpected outcome is sure to mix things up in Group B, there's undoutably a few happy Danish bettors counting their cash on what were some very good odds for the underdog win.
