Mansion has now closed the betting exchange and now offers a sportsbook.
Mansion is a relative newcomer to the online sports betting scene, having come online in late 2003. Initially they offered both a sportsbook and a betting exchange, however as of February 2007 the company closed their sportsbook operations, and now offers only the betting exchange. While their reduced operations has left Mansion with a reduced the number of markets available, they continue to offer some of the best commission rates in the industry, as low as 1% to sellers making new propositions, with buyers paying 0% on existing offers. While it's unfortunate that Mansion doesn't offer a wider variety of betting options for exchange members, because the commissions are so low on those that they do, it remains a recommended place to wager on football on more popular matches and events; when odds are equal otherwise, lower commissions mean more profit on winning bets.
